Katie Levy is a graduate of Post University's Equine Program. During her time at Post, she was able to find her passion for saddle fitting while learning about horse and rider biomechanics. Having a problem finding a proper fitting saddle for both herself and her horses, Katie found she was able to relate to those struggling to find the perfect saddle. Understanding the need to have a saddle that fits both horse and rider properly, she believes everyone should be given the opportunity to have a well fitting saddle, regardless of budget and that is why she started Connecticut Saddlery in 2016. Her main focus revolves around working with BOTH the horse and rider to ensure the best fit and absolute comfort. Along with actually fitting saddles, Katie also offers saddle consignment.

Katie currently lives in Southern Connecticut with her husband, daughter, their three horses (Jax, Lilo and Burrito) and their three dogs. A life time of working in the equine industry has given her the tools she needs to provide care  that goes above and beyond to the animals she's responsible for. Her history in the Equine industry also includes working for Fairfield Equine Associates as well as formerly working as a program manager for an Equine Assisted Therapy program.
